The yacht had several bathrooms but not one with a bath, the one thing the owners' children wanted. With our partner Siminetti, we removed and rebuilt the space into a safe, easy-to-clean, luxurious bathroom built around family life.

Despite multiple bathrooms on board, none had a bath, an essential for the owners' young children who loved bath time. The brief was a spacious, safe, beautiful bathroom that would stand up to children's use, fitted into a superyacht's tight spaces. The work was completed in a five-week window with our partner Siminetti.
A large 1m by 2m bath was fitted into a reconfigured space with rounded edges, child-safe tap placement, and non-porous, easy-clean Siminetti crushed shell tiles. The result is elegant, practical, and built for family time.

We met the family to understand how they use the boat and their design taste, then presented rendered drawings so they could visualise the transformation before work began.
We paired neutral tones with contrasting Siminetti mosaic tiles, square mosaics on the edges and fantail mosaics elsewhere, and prioritised non-porous, easy-clean materials built to handle children's bath time.
Custom marble fittings were carefully removed and the plumbing and bulkheads reconfigured to house a large 1m by 2m bath, with the bath manoeuvred through narrow corridors.
Safety led the detailing, with rounded edges and considered tap placement. Siminetti's coated crushed shell tiles lifted both the look and the practicality.
A seamless, elegant finish that improved function, simplified cleaning, and gave the family a space built for relaxation.
“By combining design and craftsmanship, we turned a standard yacht bathroom into a space built for family comfort. The owners were delighted, and it opened the door to further work together.”
