A Princess F62, reupholstered beyond factory standard

After years of chartering, the owner moved into their own Princess F62. The yacht had the pedigree, but failing upholstery in the helm and saloon was letting the interior down. We replaced it, and carried out a series of upgrades alongside.

The brief

The helm and saloon suffered from discoloured, bubbling fabrics, glue leaching, and sticky finishes, distracting from an otherwise exceptional yacht. The owner wanted the inside to feel as considered as the outside looked, with finishes that exceeded the original factory quality and materials built for marine conditions.

Alongside the upholstery, we carried out a passerelle installation, an illuminated boat sign, new teak work, a custom flybridge table, a watermaker installation, and bathroom enhancements.

The outcome

The helm and saloon now match the quality of the yacht itself: a sleek, comfortable, resilient interior built for years of ownership. The owner described the difference as night and day.

  • Helm and saloon reupholstered in marine-grade materials
  • Finishes that exceed the original factory quality
  • Passerelle, illuminated sign, teak work, and watermaker added
  • A cohesive, durable interior ready for ownership

How we delivered it

1

Consultation and materials

We aligned with the owner on style and long-term expectations, then presented marine-grade fabrics chosen for durability, comfort, and resistance to the marine environment.

2

Arrival and survey

At our Lauderdale Marine Center facility in Fort Lauderdale we carried out a full pre-condition survey, documenting the helm, saloon, and surrounding areas to set a clear baseline and plan the additional upgrades.

3

Protection and removal

Every surface, woodwork, navigation equipment, flooring, and glass, was protected before the failing upholstery was stripped back to a clean, prepped base.

4

Precision reupholstery

Each helm and saloon component was reupholstered in the selected materials, with aligned seams and a finish built to surpass the original OEM quality.

5

Reinstallation and detailing

Components were refitted, the area professionally detailed, and the yacht handed back with an interior ready for years of ownership.

“We believe every refit should exceed the factory standard. Seeing a yacht reborn, equal parts comfort, durability, and style, is why our team loves these projects.”
