After years of family voyages, the interior had begun to show its age, faded and lifting materials, worn fabrics and carpets, and tired teak. The owner asked for a complete interior refit that kept the yacht they loved.

The materials had faded and become tacky and bubbled, the fabrics and carpets were worn, and the teak surfaces had taken damage. The brief was to restore the interior to its original quality while bringing in modern materials and a more contemporary palette, all without losing the character of a well-loved boat.
The F55 came back with a refreshed, modern interior that felt new while remaining unmistakably the owner's. Material choices lifted both the look and the durability of the space.

We worked with the owner to understand how they used the boat, then selected premium materials and a modern palette that suited the F55's lines.
We sourced marine-grade materials built for life at sea: UV-stable fabrics, durable carpets in neutral tones, and quality teak for a clean finish.
Old materials were removed and new upholstery fitted, carpets laid with bound edges and discreet fastenings, and teak surfaces restored and treated.
The refit was completed with tailored accessories and soft furnishings, and the exterior hull and superstructure were polished to restore the GRP.
“Aquamare completely transformed our Princess F55. The attention to detail and quality of work were exceptional. It feels like a brand new yacht without losing the sentimental value of our trusted vessel.”
