The helm in your hand
Docking a yacht of 50,000 lb or more from a fixed helm means working around blind spots and relying on crew to call distances. A Dockmate remote lets the operator stand where the dock, the piling, or the swim platform is in full view and control the boat directly.
Every system is built to order. The receiver is configured for the vessel’s engines, thrusters, and controls, supports analog and digital CAN bus systems, and sits in a waterproof IP67 aluminum housing. SoftDocking and Throttle+ give finer control at low speed.
Integrated with the controls already on board
Dockmate works alongside traditional control heads and joystick systems. The TWIST and VECTOR proportional 3-axis joysticks give fully proportional control of engines and thrusters, and an optional cradle lets the remote double as a fixed joystick on the flybridge.
Aquamare surveys the existing controls, specifies the right remote and receiver modules, installs and commissions the system, and hands over documentation so the captain and owner know exactly how it is set up.
